In “Facing West,” John Nizalowski will explore the life of Frank Waters and his significance to American literature of the past century. Born in Colorado Springs in 1902, Waters went on to live and work across the American Southwest and Mexico. He emerged from this experience with a profound understanding of the land and people of this region, a knowledge that deeply informs his 30 books of fiction and non-fiction.
