The Palmer Lake Historical Society and the Western Museum of Mining & Industry are pleased to announce the second presentation of “A Tale of Two Husteds” by Jack Anthony!

The Palmer Lake Historical Society and the Western Museum of Mining & Industry are pleased to announce the second presentation of “A Tale of Two Husteds” by Jack Anthony!

About six miles south of Palmer Lake, East Husted and West Husted sprang up as railroad “tank towns” for the Denver & Rio Grande and the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe railroads. The two Husted depots midway between Colorado Springs and Palmer Lake became a place to pick up passengers and shipments of agricultural products.
