A Simple Joy: Tenkara Fly Fishing

Daniel Galhardo, founder of Tenkara USA, will get us all on the line — a fishing line with a fly tied at the end — with a rod and NO REEL. Really!  The minimalist nature of Tenkara makes it the perfect companion for any outdoor adventure.

Daniel loves to fly fish; it’s what has led him to found and guide this company.  At the workshop, you’ll learn how simple and joyous it can be!  Daniel makes annual trips to Japan to fish with the Tenkara masters and brings back to us the bounty of his learning there.

Tenkara fly fishing is truly a simple pleasure and simple to learn.   So, if you’re not already a fly fisherman or fisherwoman, no worries.  This is a great way to start.
