2015 Manitou Chamber Music Festival

In its second year, the Manitou Chamber Music Festival runs from Sunday, July 19-Sunday to August 2, 2015 and features faculty concerts at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. The works of composers from the 18th century to the present will be performed in historic Manitou Springs. Tickets are on sale on the MCMF website: www.manitouchambermusicfestival.com.

Concerts on Tuesday, July 21, Friday, July 24, Tuesday, July 28 and Friday, July 31 at 7:30 p.m. Student concerts on Saturday July 25 (7:30 p.m.), Saturday August 1 (7:30 p.m.) and Sunday, August 2 (2:30 p.m.)

$10/Students & Seniors, $20/Adults, $65 Season.

The Manitou Chamber Music Festival and String Quartet Program is a unique environment for the study and performance of great works of classical chamber music. The goal is to teach young musicians how to interpret music at the highest artistic level, to show by example what is possible for them to do, and to present them in public concerts both in their own work and in partnership with their mentors. Manitou Springs was chosen as a home for the festival to complement the town’s thriving visual arts community.
