11th Annual Manitou Springs Lantern Parade

This year is the 11th Annual Manitou Springs Lantern Parade put on by Concrete Couch and co-sponsored by Smokebrush Foundation and the Golden Lotus Foundation.

On April 5, the community comes together to parade in the streets of Manitou and show off amazing homemade lanterns. We start the parade at Manitou’s Memorial Park and walk on the sidewalk up to Soda Springs Park Pavillion.

Join in for music, dance, and celebration during and after the parade!

Concrete Couch works with students in D14 and offers a free spring break class at the Manitou Art Center to build unique, low-tech lanterns!

Can’t make a lantern making class? No problem! Make one at home or bring an instrument/ friend/ or just yourself and join in the fun!
