As an individual artist, I am having fun with all media from pastels to oils to photography. My strong suits are acrylic and photography. I started out young, I remember that. Always creating, drawing, painting and generally driving my mother nuts with my messes. (My mother will tell you that part.) People look at me funny when I tell them that I knew I wanted to be a teacher by age 9. Well, here I am. My love of Art has always been present. But so has my love of passing on the knowledge. That love translated well when I joined Bemis School of Art in 2008. I melted together my two great passions: Teaching and ART! My classes are typically offered to the younger generation, but I have also taken great pleasure and honor participating in the Creative Expression group at Bemis, as well as teaching art to athletes at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. I am currently (and nearly) done with my education through UCCS – BA in Education/ English with emphasis in Art. You can find me, typically, milling around Bemis or lallygaggin’ at various art happenings throughout our cool city. I hope to meet you there one day!
