As a native of south Louisiana, I am proud of my Cajun heritage and have lived and worked in Colorado Springs, Colorado since July 1990.
Some of the mediums I work in include watercolor, oil, colored pencil, pastel, photography and stained glass. I am a signature member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society and the Southern Colorado Watercolor Society.
My artwork can be seen at Boulder Street Gallery at 206 N. Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs and on my blog www.myrapatinart.blogspot.com.
My stained glass work is done by commission and is in many homes in Colorado Springs, Minnesota, and Louisiana.
I am organist at Gateway Presbyterian Church at 731 Castle Road in Colorado Springs. I also provide organ, piano, and vocal music around the Pikes Peak region for weddings, funerals and memorial services, as well as background piano and vocals for private parties in homes and businesses and other events such as art openings, club functions, senior centers, Christmas parties, open house events, tour of homes, etc.
When I’m not creating artwork or music, I work as a legal assistant working with my husband, Sidney, who is an attorney in Colorado Springs.
