Karen Storm, a Colorado-based artist, is collected nationwide. She holds an art degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a member of the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America and Plein Air Artists of Colorado.
“I attempt to embrace the essence of my subject by painting in an Impressionistic Style. Inspiration for my work rises out of my travels and my daily life, capturing intimate moments in nature. I often paint “plein air” immersing myself in the dance of shapes, colors and light of the landscape. Painting celebrates how the natural world touches my soul. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to slow down and be astonished by this joyful life.”
Karen Storm creates, exhibits and teaches in the Pikes Peak region. She maintains a studio at Second Floor Studios, Colorado Springs. Gallery 113 exhibits her work.
