Jenny Maloney is a local writer and performer. As an active ensemble member of Springs Ensemble Theatre (SET), she has produced, directed, written, and performed in some of the most innovative theater in Colorado Springs, including directing SET’s all-female production of Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus.
Jenny has also worked with several local theater companies in different capacities, including The Black Box, Funky Little Theatre Company, and the Star Bar Players, the longest-running theatre company in Colorado Springs.
As a playwright, she co-wrote two of SET’s holiday productions: The Gnome in the Room and Stocking Stuffers. Her ten-minute plays have been produced in several venues in Colorado Springs as well as Pueblo. She has been a workshop leader for Theatreworks’ Intergenerational Playwrighting Workshop Series.

One of Jenny’s largest projects was 365 Little Stories. In 2016, as a self-challenge, she decided she would write 365 100-word stories. And she did it. Now she writes little stories because she enjoys it. Follow along at 365 Little Stories.
